As you can see in our Things To Do pages there are few places in the world where you can engage so many different activities in such a wide range of settings. As many of our first time visitors find the range of activity possibilities overwhelming we have created several 3, 4 and 7 day eco adventure packages featuring some of the most popular activities.
We have leveraged decades of local experience to create an offering that we believe is unique in the world. From selecting our routes, partnering with guides and instructors, preparing field notes and investing in equipment we have maintained a focus on providing memories that will last a lifetime. The links from the activities listed below will take you to pages with more information on each activity.
Please remember that these activities represent a small subset of what the area has to offer. One could easily spend weeks kayaking in the area and never visit the same place twice, could hike hundreds of kilometers never crossing the same trail, spend days just visiting all the marine parks by boat or months swimming and snorkeling around all the islands in the area. As a small business our specialty is having the time to create Custom Adventure Packages to meet your specific needs and interests. If after looking through our Things To Do pages you see some specific activities that seem interesting please send us an email or give us a call so we can create a package to meet your specific needs. Based on feedback from previous years we have assembled the activities into the following 3, 4 and 7 night packages. The packages include your accommodations, meals and the indicated activities.
If you have hiked, kayaked and mountain biked before your stay with us will be about enhancing your skills and enjoying the rich array of environments you will be immersed in each day. Even if you have been to the area before we are confident our interpretive guides knowledge of the abundant local flora and fauna will provide you with new areas to investigate, things to learn and activities to experience. If you have never kayaked or hiked before, fear not, we expect that most of our guests will have little to no experience. In fact, one of our main objectives is to entice more people into embracing eco-adventures as part of their ongoing vacation plans. Knowing how to ride a bike (optional for the Savary Island Day), having a good level of basic fitness, and possessing a positive mental attitude are the only things required to enjoy your time at the Resort. Our certified instructors will provide you with all the guidance required to learn the other skills you will need during your stay. By "a good basic level of fitness" we mean you engage in some form of regular cardio vascular activity and have no pre-existing medical conditions that would prohibit you from hiking, biking and kayaking. You will be paddling, biking, walking and hiking fairly long distances each day under your own steam so should be prepared for that. On the other hand we have arranged the activities overall distances and rest points such that a person in their 50's or 60's with a good level of physical fitness can easily participate. A key part to being able to offer this package, to such a broad age-range of participants, is in our activities planning such that you don't have to hike with heavy packs, paddle in equipment laden boats or undertake long portages.
No single company could cost-effectively provide a quality package with the scope of what we are offering so we have partnered with several of the best guiding organizations the region has to offer. These partnerships enable us to provide you with a wide range of the latest model equipment and with specialized instructors and guides with decades of local experience. Please remember to fill out your Medical Safety Form if there are medical issues that you would like the guides to be aware of in the event of an emergency so they can better assist you.
